On Friday 2nd January members of the Prayer and Action group met at the Archbishop’s Seminary to spend the day together. There were around twenty people in all, together with the members of the Chaplaincy team, Mr Jonathan, Mr Daniel, Ms Tania and Fr. Jimmy.
The day started off with an ice-breaking game, followed by a session on team building, which was also in line with this year’s theme ‘Building Bridges’.
We all had a meal together, and some of the students teamed up helped to clear and wash the plates and cups used.
We took advantage of the gorgeous weather and went for a lovely short hike in the surrounding countryside, during which we discussed various issues.
On returning to the Seminary, we had time for a short game and a moment of reflection before the parents came to collect their children.
This activity provided the opportunity for students to get together in an informal setting, away from school and to foster positive relationships.
The next activity will be organized during the Carnival mid-term holidays.
