Dear Parents,

Further to the launch of the Educational Fun Trip with the students held a few weeks ago, we are delighted to officially launch our school trip to Kingswood (Camp Beaumont) to you. The 1 week residential educational activity course at the Kingswood centre at Isle of Wight (Camp Name: The Island) will take place between Saturday 11th and Saturday 18th July 2009.

Kingswood is the leading residential activity provider, welcoming over 130,000 children each year. Their centres provide a rewarding educational programme offering many thrilling outdoor and indoor adventure activities linked to social and educational skills. Pupils benefit hugely from the experience, both educationally and socially and we feel certain that the programme we have chosen this year will prove to be both enjoyable and very worthwhile. We have confirmed our booking with Kingswood and appreciate that parents and pupils will undoubtedly wish to find out more about the forthcoming trip.

We have arranged a parent evening at school on Thursday 20th November at 7:00pm to explain more details and show you some presentation DVDs of the type of activities your child will be participating in. We urge you to attend this meeting together with your child as all the information relevant to this trip will be given during this meeting.
