Drama Production Up, Up & Away - 11/06/2010
The culmination of the Drama programme at San Andrea Senior School is seen through the Annual Drama Production. A production that involves a cast of 160 students from Grade 8 to 12. Written and directed by Ms. Daphne , the teacher of drama, ‘Up, Up & Away’ was set a village in the clouds where the Whos and the Whats had to settle a dispute that would lead one of them to elimination. When a group of children take a ride on Chitty Chitty Bang Bang they end up right in the middle of this contest. But things take a turn to the worst and the survival of young What takes centre stage, who would have thought that the evil kidnappers were the children’s parents themselves. However as with every fairy tale ending, young What is saved, unity is restored and everyone live happily ever after, apart from the miserable Judge!

Such an amazing performance would definitely not have been possible had other member of staff, parents and ex-San Andreans not offered to help in every possible way. A big thank-you goes especially to Ms. Nadine who despite her absence from school still succeeded in creating such colourful and amazing scenery.
