For safety reasons, children are not to be left unaccompanied whilst waiting for the van and on their return home. You are kindly requested to obtain the telephone number and name of the driver in order to inform him if the child will not be attending school on a particular day. Likewise, the driver is to be informed about the child's return to school. We cannot emphasise enough the importance of having the children ready and waiting for the vans in good time. Van drivers simply cannot wait for the children to be ready.

In the eventuality of children needing to change school vans (going back home) for one reason or another, parents are kindly asked to inform the School Secretary in advance. We will not entertain any claims from children saying that they want to change vans. For the convenience of parents the School will endeavour to make arrangements with a contractor to provide a bus service to most parts of the island. The School will notify the contractor of parents' requirements and facilitate the provision of a satisfactory service.

Parents wishing to use the bus service are expected to provide all necessary information when requested, so that prior arrangements can be made before the start of the scholastic year.

The cost of this service is set by the contractor in agreement with the school and will be included on the invoice of school. Payment should be made in advance by the first day of each term.

Children will wear the correct uniform when travelling to and from school, and they will behave in the appropriate manner. Disciplinary action will be taken against children who are reported by the supervisors for misbehaving and this may take the form of exclusion from any transport already paid for. Parents are required to have their children waiting for the bus at the agreed time and pick up point.

School transport is organised as an added service for the convenience of parents and students but the school is not responsible for transporting students to and from school.
